DMV Practice Tests
KHCPL has partnered with Driving-Tests.org, a company dedicated to driver safety and education, to offer free DMV practice tests to library patrons. The new service includes free tests, written specifically based on the state DMV materials, and is the only site of its kind to include accessibility tools that allow users to hear selections read aloud, make them into MP3s, translate pages into other languages, magnify text, and mask sections of the screen for greater visibility on driving practice tests.

Lynda.com is a constantly growing library of over 4,000 different video courses incorporating several thousand video tutorials in streaming video format, with new material added every week. Courses are offered at different skill levels in over 140 specialties. Subjects covered include 3D + animation; audio + music; business, including Office and Google software; online designing; database and software development; photography and video; education + learning; information technology; marketing; and web and social media. Videos use screenshots, narration, live action, smart boards, charts and graphics, audio and include captioning.
