Genealogy and Local History
What is Genealogy?
Genealogy is the study of your family history. It’s the process of tracing your ancestors—parents, grandparents, and beyond—to understand where you come from and how your family has changed over time. We can help you locate names, dates, and places of your ancestors.
The Genealogy & Local History Department offers a wide range of research materials.
