Adult & Young Adult Collections and Computers

The Russiaville Branch has a growing collection of materials for entertainment or research. Our book collection includes fiction, Christian, mystery, science fiction, and western. We also have books on tape and CD, a large print collection, music CDs, CD-ROMs, videos, DVDs, newspapers and magazines. Many magazines are available for patrons to borrow and enjoy in their own homes.

The branch has five computers available to the public. Computers have Internet access and many have Microsoft Office and other applications. A scanner is also available. Printouts can be made at a cost of 10 cents for black and white printouts and 30 cents for color printouts

Children's Collections

The Russiaville Branch has children's books, books on tape and CD, music CDs and cassettes, CD-ROMS, videos, DVDs and magazines.

Interlibrary Loans

If we don't have a particular book or library item that you want, it is very likely that we can borrow if for you from another library. This is a free service. In 2002 we received over 1,700 requests from our patrons, and we were successful at retrieving over 1,300 items. We can obtain books, magazine articles, and other materials. Ask us in the Library, by phone at 765.454.4710 or through our online ILLiad Interlibrary Loan System.

Reference Services

Whether you're looking for the latest best seller, an illusive fact, the price of a used car, or research on a particular subject, we can assist you in your search. Librarians are available whenever the library is open to answer questions and provide assistance. In addition to answering questions for people who come into the Library, librarians also answer telephone reference questions at 765.454.4710 and through our online form.

Public Fax and Copier

The Russiaville Branch offers a fax service for the public.Charges are:
Outgoing - $1 per page for domestic and $2 per page for international
Incoming - 50 cents per page.

Copies can also be made at a charge of 10 cents per page for black and white.

Programs Offered

Russiaville programs include monthly book discussions, Storytimes for children, Expressions; an arts and crafts program for children, and Summer Reading Clubs for adults, teens and children.
