What We Have
Whether you're looking for the latest best seller, an illusive fact, the price of a used car, or research on a particular subject, we can assist you in your search. Bookmobile staff are available to answer questions and provide assistance. In addition to answering questions for people who visit the bookmobiles, librarians at the Main Library also answer telephone reference questions at 765.454.4710 and answer online questions by filling out a Reference Question Form.
Interlibrary Loan
If we don't have a particular book or library item that you want, it is very likely that we can borrow it for you from another library. This is a free service. Last year we received over 1,700 requests from our patrons, and we were successful at retrieving over 1,300 items. We can obtain books, magazine articles, and other materials. Ask us in the library, by phone at 765.454.4710 or online by using our ILLiad Interlibrary Loan System.
Convenient Returns / Book Drops
Materials may be returned to any location in the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library System (Adventure Express and Discovery Express Bookmobiles, Main Library, South Branch and Russiaville Branch.) Book drops are located outside each library building for your convenience.
Outreach Hours
The outreach office is open Monday - Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8am to 12pm.
