Employment Opportunities
It is the Library's policy that, as required by law, equal employment opportunities be available to all persons without regard to race, gender, age, color, religion, national origin, citizenship status, or disability. This policy applies to all employees and applicants for employment and to all phases of employment including hiring, promotion, demotion, treatment during employment, rates of pay or other forms of compensation, and termination of employment.

The Library will comply with its obligation to provide reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities.

Pre-employment Drug Screening Requirement:
The Kokomo-Howard County Public Library has a vital interest in maintaining safe, healthful and efficient working conditions for its employees and customers. Being under the influence of illegal drugs poses a serious threat to the health and safety of the user, and to others. Recognizing this, all applicants considered for employment must successfully complete a drug screening evaluation prior to employment.
