This data was extracted from Kokomo, Indiana Newspapers. In late December or early January the newspapers often published a chronology or necrology of the year that was ending or the year that had just ended. Most of the citations in this database are deaths, some are burials or death notice dates, and a few are birthdays of older residents of the area.

Some years the newspaper provided a very detailed list of deaths of Howard County residents and of people with Howard County connections. Other years, only the names of a few "prominent" deceased citizens were provided. This is in no way a complete list of those who died in Howard County from 1922 to 1935, however, it does provide some valuable information to researchers with ancestors from this area.
