Mark A. and Mary J. (Foreman) McCreary : 53 Years
Married February 19, 1951

Mark and Mary were married on February 19, 1951, at the Union Baptist Church in Clinton County. Mary worked at Maplecrest school cafeteria as a cook for 25 years, retiring in 1988. Mark was employed at Delco Electronics for 39 years, sixteen years as a group leader, and twenty-three years as a production supervisor, and retired in 1987. From 1948-1952 he was on military leave of absence from Delco, serving in the U.S. Navy. He and Mary have 3 daughters who are also in long- lasting marriages: Jane (Mrs. Dennis) Kollmar; Sheryl (Mrs. Rick) Phillips; and Diane (Mrs. Mark) Parkison. They have have 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mary's recipe for a successful marriage: "It's just a lot of give and take."
