Arthur, whose grandfather settled in Howard County when it was known as Richardville County, and whose parents are also featured in this display, was married to Ella in Tipton County by the Rev. Mr. Larue of the Sharpsville Methodist Church, on December 15, 1892. They had 2 sons, Audria E. Long, who ran the Long Monument Company, and Ralph A. Long, proprietor of Long's Funeral Home. They also had 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren at the time of their 60th wedding anniversary in 1952.
