Arthur and Wilma Jean were married in Kokomo on February 8, 1942 at the South Side Christian Church, with the Rev. Burris Butler performing the ceremony. Wilma's brother Raymond was one of the attendants. Arthur was a native Tennessean working for the Continental Steel Corporation at the time. Wilma was born in Boone County, Indiana, but came to Kokomo as a young girl and graduated in the K.H.S. Class of 1940. Following the wedding ceremony, her parents hosted a reception in their home. They are the parents of 5 children: Sharon Kay (Mrs. Vince) Turrini, of Ridgefield, Connecticut; Diana Rae (Mrs. Stanley) Brown, of Rochester, Indiana; Rita Elaine (Mrs. Donald) Longfellow; Phillip Dale Frazier; and Linda Denise (Mrs. Richard) Ashburn, of Kokomo. Arthur retired from Continental Steel after 33 years of service. Wilma is a retired secretary from Western School Corporation.
