Kenneth and Helen met on a blind date in January, and were married six months later in Alexandria, Louisiana, on June 10, 1944. Their courtship was a short one because "Kenny" was home on leave from the Army when they met. A Certified Public Accountant, Kenneth was a 1937 graduate of Kokomo High School, and a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. He and Helen are the parents of Linda S. (Mrs. Jerry) Henry, Julia K. Bond, and Carol A. Henry, all of Kokomo; and James K. Bond of Indianapolis, 6 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, and 4 great-grandchildren.
