Wayne and Jane were married in Kokomo on June 20, 1937 by the Rev. B.F. Smith in the First Brethren Church. Wayne retired from the Chrysler Transmission plant. They are the parents of Alice J. (Mrs. James A.) Richey, Kokomo; Donald W. Allen, Carmel, IN; and Mary Martin, Kokomo, and have 6 grandchildren, 1 step-granddaughter, and 3 great-grandchildren.
The secret of their success: "You learn to live with a lot of problems, but you can overcome them."
