Remarks:There has been no diseases prevailing in my district this past year (1859) but on the contrary it has been extremely healthy both for man and stock. We have a fine ? of Limestone Water taken from wells & springs with a rich Loam and Limestone soil. Our Principal timber is Poplar, Walnut, Oak, Ash, Hickory, Elm, Beach[sic] Maple, etc. etc.

Remarks: It has been remarkably healthy in "My District" within the last year. No epidemic has prevailed and with the exception of a slight attack now and then of Fevers and Ague the people are & act healthy and happy.
