The Department Genealogy & Local History Services has significant runs of many historical/genealogical quarterlies and newsletters. These do not appear in the Library's OPAC. New issues of popular journals are shelved near the reference desk; older issues are in the stacks. Researchers will find the Periodical Source Index (PERSI), most helpful in finding articles of interest on surnames, geographical locations and types of records, and special topics.
