Friends of the Library Book Sales
Semi-annual book sales are held by the Friends of the Library in the Community Room of the Main Library at 220 N. Union Street. Volunteers are always welcome to work before and during the book sales. If you would like to help out, please contact Peg Harmon at the library, 457-3242 ext 1004, during business hours.
Most items are sold at these prices:
- Adult small paperbacks : $.50
- Adult books : $1.00
- Audio Books : $1.00
- Children's and YA books : $.50
- CDs, DVDs, Videos, LPs : $1.00
- Condensed Reader's Digest : Free
- Magazines : Free
Popular best sellers & older editions are specially priced from $1.00 and up. They are in a separate room on Fridays and Saturdays during the book sales.
Sunday of book sale weekends are "$2-A-Bag-Day."
Thursday, 4 - 8 p.m. (Fall Book Sale Only)
Teacher pre-sale. This is an opportunity for school teachers to purchase books for classroom use. Membership not required.
Friday, 12 - 5 p.m.
First choice of books for Friends of the Library members only. Memberships are sold at the door.
