21st NATIONAL AFRICAN AMERICAN READ-IN CHAIN
February 21, 2010 • 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. • KHCPL South
Over a million readers of many ethnic groups worldwide will take part in this exciting event to celebrate the works of the many black authors and illustrators whose works inform and entertain us. The Kokomo Area Reading Council is sponsoring the Read-In, that kicks off Black History Month, where participants read works authored by African American writers. No registration required.

DROP EVERYTHING AND READ!
Tuesday, March 2nd: 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at KHCPL Main
Participate in the national Read Across America campaign and get caught reading and listening to
wonderful books by Dr. Seuss. Drop everything and join us at the library for some fun games, crafts, and other activities. Please register in the Children’s Department or call 765.457.3242.

SUPER SATURDAYS

KHCPL Main is pleased to announce its new Super Saturday programs for kids ages 6 to12. This monthly program features literature, science or social studies, or something ‘just for fun.’
