When he is not involved with library or community work, his time is spent pursuing his musical interests - taking piano lessons and attending concerts; his genealogy interests - researching his family lines and writing books about each line; his church interests - participating in the Kokomo Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; and keeping up with the active lives of his family - wife, Peggy, who is a clinical dietitian at Howard Regional Medical Center, and children and their spouses, Craig and Kara Joray, Bruce and Alyssa Joray, Elizabeth and Adam Scott, Molly and Gregory Hamlin, and his six grandchildren Alora and Eliza Joray, Alexis and Shadrach Hamlin and Hannah and Noah Scott.
Libraries have always been important to Mr. Joray as he has found fulfillment in reading, researching topics, doing genealogy work and listening to music CD's and books-on-tape. It is Mr. Joray's hope that you, as a patron of the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library, will also find fulfillment in using the library's many resources.
