KHCPL has a wide selection of DVDs ranging from childrens cartoons to horror flicks - exercise to cooking - new releases to classics. We are your one stop for entertainment. Planing a road trip, family gathering or just want something different to do with the family? How about a themed movie event? Ask the KHCPL Reference staff to point you in the direction of a couple good films related to to a common theme that you and your family will enjoy.

- Hot Flick videos and DVDs are checked out for seven day period. These items cannot be held or renewed.
- Overdue fines are $1.00 per day per item, with a maximum of $10.00 per item.
- A maximum of six videos and six DVDs, including Hot Flicks, may be checked out on a card at any one time, for a seven day loan period and can be renewed once. Videos and DVDs that are classified as Hot Flicks or have holds cannot be renewed.
- Holds may be placed on videos and DVDs except for those videos or DVDs that are classified as Hot Flicks.
- Videos and DVDs may not be renewed. Patrons may not use teacher cards to check out videos or DVDs.
- Patrons may use teacher cards to check out one video and one DVD for classroom purposes.
- Patrons 17 years of age or younger may check out videos or DVDs if a signed Juvenile or Young Adult Patron Registration form granting permission from the parent, stepparent or legal guardian is on file.
- Videos and DVDs have a $1.00 fine per day per item, with a maximum overdue fine of $10.00 per item.
A notice is sent to the patron informing him/her of the held item, which is at the Circulation Desk for seven days. Videos and DVDs will be held for three days. If the hold is not picked up, it goes to the next patron or is returned to the shelf. Hold notices may be sent by e-mail, telephone or postal mail.
Material not returned by the due date will receive an overdue notice. This notice may be sent by e-mail, telephone or postal mail. Overdue Notices for DVD's, Videos, and Hot Picks are generated three days after the due date.
Items still not returned after the Overdue Notice will be billed for replacement. This notice will be sent postal mail. Final notices for DVD's, Videos, MP3 Players, and Hot Picks are generated seven days after the due date.
